Does Alaska translate our game names and other data?

No. Alaska's language setting changes the app itself: its menus, labels and messages. The data your team enters, such as game names, SKUs, company names and request notes, is stored once, exactly as it was entered, and everyone sees it that way whatever language they use. Alaska doesn't hold translated versions of it.

What changes when someone switches language?

The app around your data: menus, labels, buttons and messages. Alaska is available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Japanese, and each user picks their own.

What stays the same?

Everything your team puts into Alaska is stored once, as entered, and isn't held in more than one language. That includes:

  • Game and SKU names
  • Company and partner names
  • Tags, request notes and comments

Why does that help?

Everyone, in every office, sees the same name for the same game. A request raised in Tokyo and approved in London refers to exactly the same SKU, with nothing lost in translation.

A great key management solution.

“Alaska lets us securely manage, distribute and audit keys internally and externally across all platforms. Working with the K3YS team has allowed us to work smarter, streamline internal processes and facilitate demand for our product.”

Does switching language change any keys or requests?

No. Everyone works on the same keys, requests and history. Only the language of the app changes.
